PC suite wont wurk

just bought a 6220 classic. tried to install PC Suite on my PC but
because ( I think) my version of Windoze XP doesnt have service pack 2
or later the installation fails. I tried to install SP 2 but there was a
problem with authenticity. Does anyone know of a way to transfer
ringtones etc. from the PC to the phone using the USB cable other than
by using PC Suite ? Thankx.

If you connect the phone and select "data archive" (or something like that, but not NOKIA
MODE) you can put your files on the memory card of the phone (if it has one).

thanks, i managed to somehow transfer the ringtone i wanted from the
PC to the phone. not sure how i did it but it wurked :-)

I can't get my phone (Nokia 3555) to connect to PC Suite. It tells me
Bluetooth is not available (have no idea why as the phone connects to
the Mac with no problem). When I try to use cable connection, it just
does its animation and goes no further.

I also have iSync but the phone is not supported and I can't find a
plugin on the net for the 3555.

I do have a 1GB memory card in the phone, so how do I connect using that?

Why can't life be simple?

Has the BT connection ever worked? My 6102i had been working fine for
some time, and then suddenly quit. I ended up removing the BT adapter
AND the phone from Device Manager on my XP Pro PC, and when I rebooted
Windows reinstalled them and everything started working again.

My BT connection works fine with my headset, and with my iMac. But the
3555 is not supported in iSync (and I can't find a plugin for it). And I
can't get it to connect at all to the PC.
