Once an SMS is recieved on a mobile phone, I want a PC to read it (of the
phone is connected to the PC).

Hmmm...I can't remember which phone it was, either my Sony-Ericsson W300
or my LG VX8630, but I connected it to the puter via USB and ran this
nifty little utility called Kandy, I think, and was able to send and
receive SMS from the terminal. It only worked with one phone. It has built
in phones or you can select a close match, or plug parameters in until you
hit it.

Gnokii should do that, but I didn't try. I should create a gnokiirc as a description of
the phone in use.
I sometimes use nokia pc suite to send and receive sms, but not programmatically.
