Simon's right, I don't think there is anything that will do it
automatically. How many have you got? It is easy enough to move them
so that you arrange them yourself in alpha order - just use Option,
Move. Personally I've gone for "popularity" roder if you like in that
my favourite (and most used) 12 are in grid view so I can just press
the corresponding key to get them to launch, and the ones I hardly
ever use are on subsequent screen

It is easy enough to move the Icons around that are the shortcuts to
start the applications, but the Application Manager list is another
matter entirely (which is what I thought Nexus was referring to). I
haven't found away of sorting the Application Manager list, which is a
hassle scrolling through to find any given application.
