Strange problem - Nokia handset making calls by itself!

I don't know if anyone's come across this one before. My daughter has
a Nokia (3310, I think). We just discovered it has been making calls
at random times of the day and night to a number in its address book.
She is definitely not initiating thecalls herself, and wasn't aware of
it until the people complained about getting calls in the middle of the
night!

She deleted the number, but it's still happening. She's an O2
subscriber (PAYG). O2 couldn't help further than confirming calls had
been made.

Any ideas?

I would guess on that the voice dialling has been activated, see the manual
page 54 for how to use and turn off this feature.
