unable to download firmware updates of my nokia N79

I am unable to download firmware updates of my nokia N79. I tried doing
it many times, but nothing worked. I don’t want any sort of glitch in
my cell. Is their any anti virus software that can protect my phone
from all sort of fishy things that drives me crazy

I don't think there is an update at the moment, but it sometimes works
better if you download it to your PC and load it over USB.

Or you have your phone from a provider and it clamps
down on he general upgrades/updates and only allows the one
they put out, which is basically locking your phone down
for certain apps. My N95 is more then 1,5 years old and many
updates were given out by Nokia, but T-moble still has the one
at the time I bought it. Tried debranding, but the firmware I have
doesn`t allow that either. But in 3 months, about, I can finally go to
T-mobile and tell them to get the freaking ****, they put on, off.
And it is not easily removeable, so I can **** them over bad if they
can`t do it.
Revenge time atlast. ;o)
