I would not go near them with a Barge Pole.

Has all the signs of a con.

You have to pay with Western Union (Much loved by con artists)

You have no protection.

Steer clear.

Best way to make cheaper calls is use 18866 or one id the dial in providers.

No up front payments, and they accept DD/CC so you have the protection that
offers.

Here is a support call to the ask a few questions.

Sorry about the spelling, Gramma

Steer Clear

Call-Freedom Support Joins.
You Say:

Please could you tell me how I would use your service, If I was to
subscribe? Thanks

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Hi , how can I help you?
See our ''How it works'' section at our website.
If you still have questions do not hesitate to ask them.
You Say:

It is not very descriptive. Just says you dial the number as normal???

There seems to be no prefix, or dialer involved

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Yes cause the service is very easy to use.
There are 3 ways of calling
You Say:

So how is it that I am NOT charged by my Telephone Company?

Call-Freedom Support Says:

You get a local number assigned at your account activation
Through that number , you use the Phone and SMS callback functions
Which will make you call for totally free.
You Say:

Ok, so I have to initiatat a cll on a local number?

Call-Freedom Support Says:

We are your telephone company at that point
Yes it's all callback
You Say:

But if I call a local number I imideatly get charged by my phone company

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Thats not the way it works
You Say:

How do i initiate a call without it costing, if the number I dial, to get
the ringback, is not 0800?

Call-Freedom Support Says:

You get your own LOCAL number assigned at your account activation
Which is a toll-free number within your area.
You Say:

YOu CANT get LOCAL TOLL free numbers, ther is just toll free. Is there any
way of testing the service first?

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Our service setups a local number to your account.
Now if you want to do a Phone Callback for example
You call the number you got assigned , it will call you back.
You enter the number you want to call and your calling for totally free
through our services.
You Say:

I understand that, but a local call costs me money

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Yes but your not calling through your own phone
You Say:

ONLY 0800 in the UK is ferr

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Your living in the UK?
You Say:

Yes

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Then your local number will be a 0800 number yes.
You Say:

Is there a way to demo the service?

Call-Freedom Support Says:

We are able to give you one test call when you've done a signup
There is a control panel that will show you how our service works.
You Say:

After i sign up, so I have to pay first. Then there is no need of a test
call, to see if it is any good.

Call-Freedom Support Says:

No no ,
When you signed up , you give me your username and i will initiate a test
call for you.
Thus for hearing the quality of ours PSTN lines.
You Say:

Ok, How does it work with Mobile phones?

Call-Freedom Support Says:

That's the thing
Our service works with any phone , anywhere in the world
You Say:

But NO mobile operator in the UK offeres free 0800 numbers, they are ALL
charged. Unless it's a charity.

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Listen , we are the provider , not any mobile operator.
You are not going to make calls through that number
It's only to initiate your call , for free.
You Say:

So how do i initiate a free call on a mobile?

Call-Freedom Support Says:

It's basically only so our system can recognize your number is in our
system.
You Say:

You cant initiate ANY call on a mobile in UK

for free

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Listen , you know how call-back works?
You Say:

YES

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Our phone servers , call you!
and then call the one you wanted to call.
You Say:

but how do they know I want to make a call. I have to tell them

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Yes and thats why we setup a local number in your area
For the SMS callback and the Phone callback functions
You Say:

Then it costs me, there are NO free or lacal calls on UK mobiles

So when I ask for a call it costs

Even if it's a 5 seccond call it costs.

Call-Freedom Support Says:

If that's the case in the UK , then you have to pay for the call you
initiate , which is less then 5 cent.
All other countries do not have this issue though.
You Say:

You know nothing, 5p is minimum, so your service is miss advertising, in
the UK it will cost.

Call-Freedom Support Says:

Web Callback will be free
Phone Callback will cost you only the initination of the call
SMS Callback will cost you the amount you pay for a local sms
But if you think about these few charges , it is nothing compared to what
you will earn.
If you call from UK-mobile to Afghanistan-Mobile , it will only cost your
mobile 5 cents to initiate the call.
You still need a regular phone line to call!
You Say:

Webcall needs a PC. Any way, thanks for your time. I personally now think
your very unsafe to do bussiness, Western Union and all that. I'll now post
this whole conversation on various forums, to alert people.

Bye

I haven't even bothered to look, but I would have to agree with you
completely. Even here in Australia we don't have FREECALL numbers on a
mobile, they all cost (except 112) and maybe the odd service number of a
carrier.

I wouldn't go near Western Union either!

Dear Cellular News Group Users,

We are deeply dissapointed about the back-fire posts at our company.
Call Freedom offers a free unlimited worldwide calling service.
The word ''free'' means that the calling service we provide is free
after having paid for a subscription.

The connection fee TO our service , is different in each country and
area.
This is a minor misunderstanding made by Mr. Mikey.

We never mentioned that the connection TO our services would be free.
Countries where landline to landline connections are free , would
still have to pay a small connection fee.
We assign a local access number (within your area) to your account ,
which will keep the costs of making connection as low as possible.

As for Western Union , many companies use there services.
Even Google Adsense uses Western Union to make payments to their
clients.

We hope to clear out several misunderstandings by posting this
message,

If you want to stay in bed with Western Scammers then that is your problem.

There is NO mis-understanding when it comes to Western Scammers and
Affiliates such as your company. Besides if it is meant to be FREE why
do people have to pay you anything through Western Scammers?
