Web browser - Always rejects cookies

Hi all...I've got an N70 and try as I might, I can never get the
built-in web browser to stick on Accepting cookies. I go in, set it to
accept, then come out again. Next time I go in it;s set to Reject -
this is a real pain. I do use Opera as well, which does this very
nicely, but there are some times when i just want to dive into the old
bog standard browser and this gets rather frustrating. Anyone got any
clues?
