Default expansion card

Like lots of people running a Treo 755p, I tend to run out of space,
despite deleting my email all the time. How can I save more of my data
onto the expansion card?

I'd like to keep email and web bookmarks and saved pages on the card.
(I sync it with a Mac G4 running OS 10.5.6. )

Is this done with NV Backup, my backup utility, or by some other
means?
