Default HTC EVO Power Cycling in Canada

I have an HTC EVO which does something strange only in the area of the
Calgary airport.

The phone power cycles off and on randomly. This can occur 5 seconds
after a reboot or 5 minutes. It doesn't happen anywhere else I've
travelled to in Canada or in the US. I don't have a service plan for
Canada so I use it in roaming mode only.

I've talked to Sprint Tech Support and they don't have an answer for
me, except to go to the local service center and maybe get a new
phone.

Has anyone else had this problem in Calgary or elsewhere, and found a
solution?

James

Technically, I don't think a PRL will cause a power cycle, will it?

Paul, Scott:

An update: I went to the Sprint store and they checked out the
phone--they couldn't find anything. The techs there think it might be
two competing cell towers fighting each other. I have updated the
PRL and just installed the latest OTA software update. I'll be back
in Calgary in a week and we'll see what happens then.
