I Spnaked Ted Frank's Dad Off Usenet

No ****. Ted's dad, Dr William Frank, used to sock up and troll (very
effectively, I might add) the cellular and DSL groups back in the early and
mid-2000's. He used hundreds of socks to do this, the most notorious of which
was RobertM. Without delving into the details (anyone interested can google
rmarkoff@msn.com for an overview), I finally sent Dr Frank over the edge and he
posted this farewell:

"No need to put up with a newsgroup full of incorrect information by
self-appointed know it alls, with unbearable arrogance. No need to fight
through virus and worm laden posts. No need to fight through personal
vendettas, and obscenity laden posts." August 2004

Dr Frank at this moment was using .com <wimax0007@aol.com> as his sock

Just goes to show that even earning a PhD. doesn't guarantee the sanity of the
person. Oh, and Ted's dad earned his PhD. in geology.
