Default International GPS with Blackberry 8830

A Sprint tech support operator has informed me that the
trick to getting the GPS to work overseas is to provision
the phone AFTER the Blackberry service is upgraded to international.

Since provisioning only seems to work on Sprint's CDMA network,
the time sequence of events is critical. Woe unto you if
your Blackberry forgets its Provisioning overseas. (Mine
has forgotten its provisioning twice in the last couple weeks.

Has anyone been able to use the 8830 World Edition's GPS in
other parts of the world? ("What part of WORLD EDITION do you
not understand?":-)
