Hello,i'm italian and plan to visit usa.
Regarding Net.10 (www.net10.com) i did not understand if this provider bills
subscribers also for inbound calls.
Thanks

Yes. They Bill for inbound. In the USA we do not have a "caller pays"
system. The caller doesn' pay extra to call to a mobile phone, so the
mobile owner pays for the call.

Net 10 requires you use their phone. A Net 10 SIM will not work in a
different phone.

No, MetroPCS is prepaid. You prepay $30-$45 and they give you
unlimited calling for a month. There's no contract, no credit check,
no nothing, just pay your money and use the service.

The problems with MetroPCS are slightly different. The first
problem is they have coverage in only a few cities, and even
in those cities the coverage isn't always wonderful. The
second problem is that they are a CDMA carrier, so you would
need to buy a CDMA phone to use with them. A GSM phone
won't work.

Page Plus (www.pagepluscellular.com) offers unlimited prepaid for $2.49
US/day, but they don't use GSM, they're a CDMA carrier, so you'll need to
get a CDMA phone from them. Unfortunately, they're a tiny company that
resells Verizon service, and has very few dealers. You usually need to buy
their service online.

It's easy ... but you have a few steps to go through. I suggest a visit
to Target (a discount store (very popluar in USA) and get a Verizon
Inpulse phone. Charge it up. Activate with Verizon ... ("over the air")
and call the 800 number for PagePlus. Buy enough airtime for your visit,
somehow. Done.
