Then why did they let people out when they raised texting rates from $0.10
to $0.15 earlier this year?
The "changing terms" language protects them from you holding them to the
terms of the contract- i.e. you couldn't demand that they keep the texting
rate at $0.10 for the rest of your contract. They are allowed to change
the terms, but also must give you the chance to reject those changes by
letting you walk w/o penalty. Now whether these new fee changes constitute
a change in the contract, I can't tell you- I'm not a Sprint customer.
When T-Mo added their BS $0.86 "regulatory programs fee" a couple of years
ago, I was given the opportunity to walk (but didn't- I'm happy enough with
them, besides, everyone else's are higher!)
