I'm sorry and I really don't mean to be smug, but if you're going to have a
wire dangling down from your headset, why not just use a wired headset?
Perhaps I'm missing something.

If you're saying you only want to be able to plug your BT headset in when
its battery eventually runs down, keep a wired headset in the car as a
backup. They're inexpensive enough and you won't have to torture yourself
with this problem.

There's a good idea. I bought a whole bag of them from the
thrift shop for $2.99 I can't use any more because the MotoZ6m
has a stereo headphone jack instead of the micro headset jack.
Want one for free?

Somewhere in there I knew there was a logical explanation!

Buy a Bose QC3 for $350 and your problem is over. (just kidding) ;-)

I'm holding the answer to the headphone volume problem in my
hands. It's call the "Radio Shack Headphone Booster". But,
RatShack dropped it from poor sales so you can't get it there.
Of course, the Net has the solution:
http://www.boostaroo.com/
The Radio Shack model is exactly the same as the $29 one on this
site. The booster runs on 2 AA alkalines for about 30 hours at
roughly double the original volume. There's no control on it but
the power switch and it will power THREE 8 ohm big house
headphones at once with no loss of volume.

I like the look of their 400% booster for $49 up at the top.
I've never heard one but you can always send it back. I see it
powers two headphones and is touted as powerful enough to drive a
big set of headphones off your MP3 player which can't.

Problem Solved....

Next Problem.....(c;

By the way, on a little USB plug MP3 player, the booster adds
about 40% to the player's battery run time because it doesn't use
any current from the player's headphone jack....The booster is
high impedance...no load on the player's audio amps.

I know this isn't exactly what you are looking for, but it will allow you to
charge it while you are using it and it does both bluetooth hands free and
Bluetooth Stereo.

The microphone is in the device and it has a "Standard 3.5mm headset jack so
you can use your favorite headsets or the ones included"
http://www.motorola.com/motoinfo/pro...alObjectId=152

BTW I bought mine from a Verizon Store.

Oh, sorry, I thought you were talking about listening to the
stereo. The new phones have regular mini phone plugs on them, not
the old microplugs with mics in the cable.
