Default Sprint abandons its future

Sprint, still without a CEO, has cancelled its agreement with
Clearwire (a Craig McCaw company) to upgrade its Network to WiMax.

But they still have plans to build a WiMax network. Just, apparently,
not with Clearwire. "We're not working with this vendor anymore" does not
mean "we've abandoned our WiMax initiative."

It means any proposed completion date needs to be moved many years
out.
