Default Sprint's Touch vs Verizon's Touch

Out of curiosity, I took a look at the "Touch" that Verizon sales.

I found out Verizon's Touch does not have Bluetooth PAN and it does not
allow you to assign a comport to a Bluetooth GPS.

The Bluetooth PAN is neat if you have a laptop with Bluetooth and want to
use "Phone as Modem" without a cable.

The "assign a comport to a Bluetooth GPS" is neat if you buy a Bluetooth GPS
and want to use it to see satellite views of where you are at.

The guy in the Verizon add. The reason I keep asking you "If you can hear
me now" is because I don't want to hear you complain about all the bluetooth
functionality we have removed from our phones.

To make double sure on the part about the BT GPS I took mine down there and
asked if I could try something.

To make a long story short, it looks like the only thing the Verizon "Touch"
is missing is the BT PAN. Verizon does not use "Internet Sharing" they use
"Modem Link" and you have to link with a cable. Screw that.

Besides Verizon striping their "Touch" of "Bluetooth PAN" and putting a 5G
cap on their data network I found something else today.

Verizon lowered the price of the "Data Plan" to *try* and match Sprint and
they added some rules to follow at the same time.
http://www.xv6900.com/Verizon-Drops-Data-Plan-Pricing

"Verizon Lowers Data Plan Pricing"

With the release of the XV6900 just a few short days away, Verizon Wireless
has announced that it has lowered pricing for the unlimited data plan from
$45.00/month to $29.99/month. This puts pricing for high speed data network
access on par with Sprint and AT&T.

The $29.99/month plan does not support Exchange, which should primarily
impact enterprise users. The new data plan will provide unlimited access to
the web and up to 10 personal e-mail accounts, including free Internet email
providers such as Windows Live, AOL and Yahoo.

The $29.99 data plan is only available with qualifying voice plans. This new
data plan is currently available on the Verizon Wireless SMT5800; the
Verizon Wireless XV6800 and the MOTO Q9m.

========== My comments below ==========

Verizon should have dropped the price to $24.99 to match Sprint. More on
that later.

Verizon should let their users have "Bluetooth PAN" to match Sprint.

Verizon should remove their 5G cap on their data network to match Sprint.

Now why the $24.99 instead of the $29.99 mentioned above? When I added
"Unlimited data" to my Mogul it was for $39.xx a month but I was allowed to
drop the Vision service shortly after that meaning I'm only paying $25 a
month more for unlimited data.
