Taking flight: why the iPhone still beats Pre for air travel
Palm's new phone is great for keeping you connected while on the road,
but you can't do cloud messaging when you're physically in the clouds.
You also can't play games, because there really aren't any, and in
fact the Pre doesn't offer much in the way of sheer fun (unless your
idea of fun is tweeting about the lack of available apps in Palm's
store). Ars reports from the road.
One of my favorite web sites ... arstechnica.com
Another web site notices that the Palm Pre is being returned by
disappointed fan boys.
"Palm's Pre mobile phone is the company's flagship model for this
year, yet it seems that the handset comes to the market with more
problems than one would expect. Not only that the device has to face
strong competition from Apple's new iPhone 3GS, but it seems that the
quality it features is not the best that can be.
According to some of the latest surveys among users, the return rate
is a little too high for the phone ..."
Palm Pre Comes with Hardware Issues
One in three users returned their units

Edward Snyder, an analyst with Charter Equity Research, told ABC News
that the estimated return rate for the Palm Pre was well below the
average 10 to 15 per cent return rate across the whole smartphone
If the iPhone is really so impressive,
why do iFans keep making excuses for it?
