Default Verizon leads other carriers by a wide margin in survey of quality, service, and value.

If you wonder why AT&T, the only U.S. carrier with the wildly popular
Apple iPhone, still lags Verizon in both net retail additions and total
subscribers, the BrandIndex survey from Youguv may help explain it. For
quality of service, value, and customer satisfaction Verizon has a wide
lead over AT&T (and even wider over Sprint and T-Mobile.

"The map wars were a big positive for them in establishing themselves as
a leader. It's a combination of their messaging being outstanding and
following through on customer service." AT&T's problem is that consumers
value coverage and quality over a theoretical higher maximum data rate
that AT&T keeps talking about in their advertising response to Verizon's
highly successful map ads. The ability to talk and web surf at the same
time is another AT&T talking point that doesn't resonate with consumers
because they don't necessarily see that as something that they need to
be able to do.

And value? I think T-Mo beats all the others in that category.

How do you know what AT&T's "net retail additions" have been? AT&T
doesn't report that number anywhere in their SEC filings.

Because it's Verizon vs. AT&T, CDMA vs. GSM. He "knows" the toilet paper
is softer in the VZW executive washrooms, too, and that Verizon serves a
better meat loaf in the employee cafeteria.

They report them in their quarterly earnings calls.

The Verizon washrooms (both executive and standard) do not have toilet
paper, they have Toto toilets with bidets.

The Verizon cafeteria does not serve meatloaf, they serve tri-tip (prime).

I'm surprised that you don;t know this.

Seriously, retail additions are always reported by the carriers in their
quarterly earnings calls, as I have pointed out in the past.

Here's how you can find the information:
