Beware of the T-Mobile Dash

The Dash seems to have an extremely fragile screen. It may be OK if
carried in a briefcase, but look out if you carry it in a pocket or a
purse. Our son's has suffered two broken screens in three months. The
standard case offers little or no protection.

DIY repairs are neither difficult nor horribly expensive, but it's a
nuisance and it all adds up.

My wife used one for two years with no case at all, just rattling around
in her purse. Other than a few light surface scratches the sceen is fine.
