Can't change phone and keep my data plan?

I tried to change my MyTouch 4G back to my BlackBerry 9700 today but T-
Mo's website refused to cooperate. I could change the phone from the
MT4G to the 9700 but I couldn't change the web plan to the BIS plan and
when I went to email setup I got an error on the website so I finally
called CS and was told if I changed phones I'd have to switch to a new
data plan for more money.

Hard to figure, I've switched between the MT4G, the 9700 and the HTC
HD2 several times before with no problems?

My billing plan renews on the second, that seems like a good day to
port the number over to VZW. I was going to wait until the buyout took
place but more and more I'm wondering why wait? It may be a temporary
website glitch but if it won't switch phones for me tomorrow we'll
see...

NOTE: I've continually heard the big lie that VZW is more expensive but
if I change to a $30 data plan then T-Mo and VZW will be exactly the
same price. Any savings with T-Mo are only for those grandfathered
into a less expensive plan.

Personally I think you caught a website glitch and stupid CSR, but if
not, how much data do you use? What data plan is $30 Switch to one of
the new lower use data plans (200mb for $10, 2gb for $20)- all of the T-
Mo plans are unlimited, the size of plan is just the point where they
throttle you from 3G to EDGE for the rest of the month.

I agree with the website but not the stupid CSR, she seemed genuinely
puzzled that she was unable to make the switch for me.
