Yesterday I needed to change my phone, I logged onto T-Mo's website,
saw my phone was the MyTouch 3g so I clicked on the "not your phone?"
link under the picture, selected BlackBerry Bold 9700 from the next
webpage and...... after much clicking and flashing around got the
website up showing my phone, a MyTouch 3G! Tried to switch several
times, closed the website, deleted all cookies, etc. tried again but it
still refused to change????
Called CS, opened the website, told the CS guy what I was doing,
clicked on the 9700 picture and... it switched! I asked the CS guy
what he did, he said, "Nothing, I haven't even touched the keyboard!"
He suggested the website had problems, I think he's right!
I changed the MyTouch Web to the BB plan and all was fine.
This AM needed to switch back to the Android (with VZW I've changed
phones 5 times in one day, don't ask!) so, same thing. It refused to
switch, tried several times before it finally did it. This afternoon
back to the BB, took only 2 tries but would NOT allow me to delete the
MyTouch Web and add the BB web! Closed the browser, cleaned up
cookies, history, etc. and tried again, success!
Later I logged on for something else and got a "Down for maintainence"
message.
Conclusion: T-Mo's having some big problems with their site, anyone
else notice this?
Wonder if it's fixed now?
