On the Qmail NNTP client on my WinMo phone, you select the max. number of
articles you wish to download per "sync" per newsgroup. I've set mine
for 100 articles. I downloads up to 100 articles- headers, bodies,
everything, since the last sync. If only 10 articles have been posted it
grabs those. If 200 have been posted, it only grabs the 100 newest.

Anything like that, John, for an older Nokia with the sort of J2ME
environment in which Opera Mini can just about run (lo-fi version),
or for a Moto RAZR V3 (capable of running Opera Mini hi-fi)?
Even read-only would be welcome :-) .
