Backup Assistant Restore

I currently have a VX8300 and my question is if Backup Assistant will
restore my contacts to a Motorola or another manufacturer's phone if I
elect to move from LG?

Sure, I believe you download the program onto the new phone, then restore to
it. It gives the details in the faq
