The 8830 has a nice mp3 player. You can load mp3 files to a
customer supplied Xd card. Just be sure to write to the correct
directory. You can organize files into directories and then access
them with media>music>albums. This is not obvious.
Make sure the GPS works if you expect to use it.
I dropped Verizon because they refused to enable the Blackberry GPS.
Also watch out for astronomical data charges when roaming.
