RIM won't be around much longer so Blackberry phones will be bargain
priced. You don't know what his reserve is either. A 9630 in excellent
condition still sells for around $75. If the GSM portion is unlocked
then it could make a decent world phone.

I wasn't meaning to use RIM services -- just VZW activation via PP
or T-Mo activation assuming the SIM-lock's gone.

You're right. Worst, I don't know if the MEID/ESN is "clean" :-) .
And thus far, at any rate, no word from "x@x".

Well, it went for $61 + $5 postage. Surprise -- no last-minute sniping,
that $61 bid was there for a long while before the close crept quietly up.

Never learned what ESN the phone had, nor whether it was SIM-unlocked,
so I didn't care to risk it. My loss, perhaps, but so be it.
