When Verizon cut out the holidays, were any successful in breaking their contracts? That material breach should have given people all they needed to break them back then.

Well... the escape clause seems a bit ambiguous:

"IF THE CHANGES HAVE A MATERIAL ADVERSE EFFECT ON YOU, HOWEVER, YOU CAN
END THE AFFECTED SERVICE,..."

What constitutes "material", and just what "service" is that? The text
messaging itself, or the overall cellular account service?

Not really an issue for me since I have a package plan (reimbursed by my
employer as a "pager service" for my on-call duties ;-)
