Default Call logs

Yesterday my wife called me @ 3:40 PM. We have a family plan. The call
shows in her log but doesn't show in mine. Then later she wanted to call
someone who had called me a week ago and left a message. When I checked
my log for the number that call wasn't there either.

In both cases I checked my all calls log.

Any ideas as to what's causing these gaps?

As a problem solving technique its main virtue was consistency; it
didn't work but at least it kept on not working, so you knew where you

Well i think you both haven't been able to properly configure your service or B, there is some problem with your phone service provider. First thoroughly check the settings of both the phones and if you still don't find a clue to the problem, please ask your service provider.

Spelling doesn't count. Cooking does.

Well, there can be a number of problems that may have caused this issue to happen in this place. Why don't you check out with your phone service provider?

What makes you think they'd know?

If they don't, they'll make something up.

Did you try a "hard restart" Turn off the phone, take out the battery
for a couple of minutes, then put it back and turn it back on. This
usually solves problems with my phone.

The only other thing I can think of is that you may have installed or
updated an app that is intercepting your call log.

Hello Owen McKenzie! I can help you with the call log issue. I need to know more about the log you're reviewing. Which log are you looking at? The call log on your phone or the call log posted online @ My Verizon? What kind of phone do you have? I would also like to review your account to see what can be done. The challenge that we face is that I'm a guest in this community so I won't get notice if/when you reply. So please contact me via Twitter at the below handle (@vzwsupport). I know for sure you can reach me there! Thanks!

Owen McKenzie, I understand your frustration but call details are not
officially posted until your bill is printed at the end of your billing
cycle. The information provided on our website via My-Verizon may not
have all the call detail information because it can take 24-48 hours for
this information to be listed. Your calls may also be made on a
different tower or another carrier’s tower or in a different area, which
may take time to be given to us and may not show up on your unbilled
details. The unbilled calls are just an estimate of calls but may not
show each call made or received until the bill prints.
