I prefer "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37NKnDRPFKU", at least it's real.

Just think of how many iPhone's Apple could sell if they were allowed to
sell it on the nation's largest 3G network.

I wonder if we have similar situation to the way a certain
microprocessor company does business where they pay companies to not
offer competitors products. Maybe RIM, HTC, LG, Samsung, and Motorola
are offering Verizon more in protection money to not offer the iPhone
than Verizon believes they would gain by offering it.

Give or take a few thousand, 11 million.

AT&T has sold about 20 mil, recent surveys suggest about 1/2 of iPhone
users would jump ship if a different carrier sold it, and there's probably
a million potential iPhone users who wouldn't leave Verizon even if the
"Can't You Hear Me Now" guy kicked their dog.

Funny, but ridiculous. With AT&T putting most of their promotional eggs in
one fruity basket, Verizon is the obvious choice to launch your "iPhone
killer," if you're RIM, Samsung or HTC. Who wants to play second fiddle?

Perhaps, but Dell went to AT&T with their Android phone. AT&T is not
happy about having such reliance on the iPhone. With what it's done to
their network it's driving away non-iPhone customers and now they are
relying almost completely on the iPhone for all new postpaid smart phone
customers.
