Charger compatibility

Is there any matrix out there for charger compatibility?

Previously I have used the "iGo" car charger. It's nice, I just have
to buy the tip for $10 or so every time I change phones, the part that
plugs into the lighter is always the same. A lot cheaper than paying
the $30 for a charger.

Deal is, I'm probably going to get a LG VX8300 or Samsung ACH-a870, and
neither of them are listed on the iGo site.

Is there another charger that can be used for either of the above
phones?

Just Google cellphone accessories and there will be hundreds of online
stores with phone chargers. My brother bought me a data cable for my LG
phone and they included a free charger. You can buy chargers for about
$10-15.

I wonder about the quality of these low price chargers ... are they
really equivalent? Verizon's $30 seems really greedy.

FWIW, I used an $8 charger with my AudioVox 8900 for about 2 years
(not very frequently) and it seems to have worked ok.

I just got a very nice LG VX 8300, and I'm just a bit worried about
frying it with one of those el-cheapo chargers ...

?

Just so happens I asked the guy at the Verizon store about compatible
chargers for the LG VX8300. He said that the 6100 and 6200 are also
the same charger as the 8300, so if you had one of those, you'd be
alright.

FWIW, with my iGo, I never had any problems with it w/my Samsung 650.
