Default Crippled or faulty

Today I was comparing phones with family. Since my daughter also has a
similar model LG I asked to borrow her micro-SD card to check out the
music player functions.

Seemed like my phone was playing in slow motion. Comparing further even
the start-up sounds are totally slow.

Is this a crippled function that needs V-Cast activated to correct?
Other voice sounds from either regular phone calls or VZNavigator are
fine.

Or might this be more likely a faulty phone?

I'd suspect a bad phone.

Contacted VZW and they felt the phone needed to be reflashed. Took it in
to their store for servicing. They said they fixed it, not true.
Actually they replaced it.

So far as I can tell. Tested the multimedia features with a MicroSD from
a friend. Music and video played fine. Still on the agenda for testing
is VZ Navigator and Bluetooth.

Good news, sounds like it's fixed.
