Freebie new phone

I'm due for my freebie new phone at my 2-year anniversary.

Have had the LG VX3200, and it's been mostly fine, drops calls now and
then, and the screen can't be read outdoors, but that's common enough.

Don't want any other features - well, *maybe* downloadable ringtones.
And although the ol' VX3200 has speakerphone, I've barely used it -
but will need to as California's new hands-free in the car law cuts in
next year.

And, the old battery is getting a bit flakey.

So, the VX3400, is that the equivalent current model, also has an
external display, and you can *compose* ringtones, but not download
them??
