Default It gets even better

Just got an invitation in the mail from VZW. It invites us to upgrade from
our $80/month 1400-minute AC family plan to a $100/month 700-minute AC family
plan.

Yes, that's right, they want us to *upgrade* to a plan that has one half
the minutes for twenty extra dollars every month, but is otherwise identical.

You've just got to love a good computer-generated form letter, huh? Qwest,
my landline provider constantly mails me literature trying to "upgrade"
me from my grandfathered $24.99 local service to their new $29.99 plan
with fewer features...
