Default Getting discounts through your wireless carrier

Well its not going to make you rich, but its not a bad idea to save a
10 spot here or there. >> http://mobiletechspot.blogspot.com/2...ounts-for.html
got a good list there of all the discounts the carriers dont generally
mention unless you ask for them. Crazy.

That list is for Sprint only.

I don't know of an up-to-date Verizon list.

A list from six years ago is at
<http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/529327/>

They don't publicize these discounts very well, so many people that work
for the companies don't even know about them.

I thought it was up to the participating company to publicize them. My
employer's IT and HR departments both notified me of a 19% corporate
discount on VZW products and services.

VZW is offering (but not publicizing, except for a snail-mail post card) a
plan for 200 minutes prime-time and additional 500 minutes nights/weekend
for $29.99/month base price, a $10 reduction from their 450 minutes for
$39.99/month plan. +1 (877) 290-4889.

Yeah the link for Verizon discounts is at the bottom of the page,

http://mobiletechspot.blogspot.com/2...discounts.html

And unlike Sprint, the Verizon discounts do apply to the really
expensive plan options. If you have unlimited everything for 100+ a
month, you can still get the discounts. Sprint only lets you use
discounts on their cheap plans.

That list is for Sprint only.

There are discounts offered to all sorts of persons who don't have IT or HR
departments, such as students and veterans. Any Verizon plan, calling or
data, that costs more than $34.99 per month could be eligible for a discount
(discount percents vary), so it's worth checking with Verizon to see if you
can save a few bucks.

Hmm, or for $29.99 on Verizon's MVNO, you can get 1200 minutes, 3000
texts, and 100MB of data. Tough decision--not.
