Help transferring pictures from computer to phone using verizon's music essentials

Hi, I was wondering how to transfer pictures from my computer to my LG 8600 using a micro sd card and the music essentials kit. I don't have any other adapter or card reader, but I'm pretty sure it's possible to transfer pictures to the card. The only way that my computer reads the card and the phone is by going into "Sync Music" on the phone. Is there any other way for my computer to recognize the card? Or am I just doing something wrong. And when I try to drag/drop the picture into the folders, they don't appear on the phone. Transferring music/mp3's to my phone works fine.

Can someone please help me out?
