Default How do I download podcast MP3s from my PC to my LG Chocolate Blue Mint?

I have the LG Chocolate Blue Mint (the newer Chocolate, I'm not certain on
the model number) and I would like to transfer MP3s from my computer to it.

I have the USB data cable and I was hoping the phone would look like a USB
drive to the computer so I could write a small script to transfer my latest
podcasts to the phone each day- that way I can plug the phone into the
computer every night to charge and it will be loaded up with the MP3s that I
want to listen to the next day.

Things don't seem to be this simple however. If I am to keep this phone I
need to find a way to automate a daily file transfer. Removing the memory
card is not an option- continuing to use my MP3 player would be easier and
less time consuming. Any ideas?

Thanks,

David

Ok,

I've been able to download MP3s using BitPim now I just need to figure out
how to interface with BitPim using Visual Studio. Hopefully this won't be
too difficult.

I am amazed that the folks at LG didn't see it fit to accelerate the rate at
which the MP3 player fast-forwards as the button is held down. My MP3s are
30 minute podcasts, it is going to take several minutes to fast-forward to
the middle of one of them if I ever need to. This missing feature and the
terrible ergonomics of the phone have me wishing I could send it back.
Unfortunately my wife decided to throw away the packaging a few hours after
the phone arrived *grumble*.

Interfacing BitPim with VS is not going to happen. The best that you
can do is saving files in the formats that your LG supports, and
uploading with BitPim.
