Default I just received my new Samsung alias 2 phone from Verizon wireless

question: having getting a microcard for this phone i loaded it with all my
music on
my pc and transfered it to the card under music, but will not load music, is
it because
the music format needs to be something other than window? any help ?
thanks

I believe that your music needs to be in MP3 format.

I don't do music on my A2, but in the manual, on page 119, it tells you how
to sync music from your pc. It does say that you must first download the
"free" program "vcast music with Rhapsody"

Reformat the microcard using the phone instead of the pc, then copy the music
to the phone; make sure that the pc still have the music.....

Most phones do mp3 & windows formats; newer phones do a lot more.

I'm finding that it is "safer" to have a phone, pda, digital camera do
the formating of the micocard instead of the pc..

That would be my first thoughts too after fighting with flash cards a
number of times. Let the device format it and all is well.
