Default Insurance Question LG vx8000...?

Hello
I presently have the NOW DINOSAUR LG VX 8000, I was one of the lucky
people who purchased this phone, Only to have it discontinued 3 short
weeks later
after owning this for the better part of 2 years, i have grown quite
attached to it, it's the perfect size for my 6 ft 4 inch frame and
frankly, it does not feel dainty, or fragile
My Dilemma now comes from having dropped it in water, It no longer
powers on
I have the verizon insurance policy on this phone and am curious if
anyone knows which phone they will replace it with?
I have tried the 8300, and to be completely honest...It feels far too
small,
anyone have one of these replaced "recently" with the Verizon insurance
policy and know for certain which phone will be sent in it's place?

Thank you in advance

If you like the phone, just pick up a couple of used ones on Ebay so you'll
have them for spares.

Oh yeah, ditch your insurance. Look at what you've paid them over the last
two years and you can probably buy two on Ebay.

May be a hard thing to accept, but the way I understand insurance, water
damage is not covered. (Too many people drop 'em into the toilet I guess!)

I also have the 8000 and pretty much like it a lot. My only gripe is that it
doesn't do all that well pulling in weak signals. So... I'm looking at my
NE2 option available on Jan 16th for a replacement. Same dilemma as you.

They charge you the "stolen/missing" replacement charge.
