Default interested in wombats

Can someone tell me whether Wombats live only in Australia,
or also on other continents?

Apart from zoos, of course.

I think there is a family of Wombats living next door to me. I'm in
the States. Actually, maybe they're just ugly Homo sapiens. I'll
check tomorrow and post here then.
