I'm new to this group, though not new to Usenet. Lurked a bit. Did some
online searches about my current issue ... Want to join the fray.
I hit my "New Every Two" anniversary, and traded in my old LG VX3200 for a
VX8300 after reading all the reviews on it, the Chocolates, and the 8600.
So far, I'm pretty happy with it. I got the 3200 for its tri-mode
capability when I was planning a summer-long sailing voyage from Virginia
to Michigan via the Atlantic, the Erie Canal and the Great Lakes. It
served me well, and I hated to loose that capability, but I wanted a good
phone, a decent camera and a decent music player in one package.
Compromises, compromises...
Looking forward to lurking, learning and participating. I'm concurrently
posting my current issue under the title "Music Metadata filling my phone
memory?"
