Krazr K1m and MPT

I just upgraded to the Krazr K1m from a VX6100. It seems as though
BitPim, 0.9.12-offical, doesn't recognize my KRAZR. Back to the topic,
MPT will access the pictures and let me upload a picture but won't let
me read or add/remove the phone book. Am I doing something wrong or is
this a 'feature' provided by Verizon? I have a RAZR V3 on Tmobile and
MPT works perfectly.
