Default Latest Thinnest Coolest Mobile Phone in the World

Its not a Motorola, not a Nokia, or a NEC

Impossibly thin, if you stack 4 credit cards on top each other, they
would be thicker than the phone

A prodigy of engineering design: 2-megapixel camera, TV output, mp3 and
video player, bluetooth, Matt Black fibreglass compound in 6.9mm...

Find out more and if you like the article vote for it!!!

Of course, we'd have to disable all these features with a "firmware
upgrade" before it would be allowed on the system, here in the
states.....even if it were a CDMA phone....which it's not.

Doubt that Cingular or T-Mob would disable anything.
Besides, even they won't carry it. No 850 on it

I think T-Mo might still carry one or two phones that are only 1900. T-Mo's
native network is all GSM 1900.

Larry's right. If there's a Verizon version the most useful features will be
crippled and replaced with extra cost "enhancements".

Never made sense to me why having the thinest/smallest phone on the
market is a attraction. Bling factor?

.... and the battery standby time will average about two hours.

I just learned that Verizon is coming out with a version of this phone, with
the following features:

* bluetooth enabled only for VZW wireless earphones, which you can get in
seven different way-kool colors
* a 256 kilopixel camera
* two slots for proprietary storage cards (only $89.99 for 256 kb at your
local Verizon store
* disabled file storage -- you have to store your pics on VZW's new,
revamped "My Cotton-Pickin-Place" and pay $5/month per 100 kb of storage
* battery life of 30 minutes (10 when watching video); you can purchase an
extra one for only $159.99 from -- guess who?
* video disabled except for "GET-my-FLIX," another new VZW service that
opens with ten minutes of a Verizon chick dancing to music from VZW's newly
launched "GET IT? No!!" and "Flix-my-Pix" services. By then your battery is
dead
* the same 220x176 pixel screen, but half of it is permanently etched with
the Verizon logo

And finally, VZW was really impressed with the "4 credit card" form factor,
so it decided to improve on it. Unlike the original Samsung x820, which is
as thick as four credit cards, this phone will take four credit cards to pay
for.
