Default LG-VX8600 & Bitpim question

Does anyone know if Bitpim will work with an LG- VX8600 using Bluetooth?

Just got my 8600 today and was able to talk to it with BitPim 0.9.10 via
Bluetooth (MacBook Pro). I uploaded all the data from my previous phone
pretty much without issue, though it hiccupped on the speed dials.

Thanks, I'm using it flawlessly with an 8300 and a friend of mine just got
an 8600 which I want to set up for her. The Bitpim site doesn't mention BT
for that model

My first priority was to upload my old contacts to the phone, which I
did with no difficuly once the phone and the mac were paired.

Otoh as an experiment I tried downloading text messages from the phone,
and BitPim became unhappy. It chugged away for awhile, then announced a
file access error (I don't have the exact logs handy righht now). So it
doesn't quite work 'flawlessly' on the 8600.
