LG-VX8800 Venus Sync to Outlook/Files/Numbers

What success has anyone here had in getting the LG-VX8800 (Verizon/LG
Venus) to sync to Outlook, transfer .jpg/.mp3/ringtones/phonebook from
the handset to pc/pc to handset?

If successful, did you use the supplied usb cable or Bluetooth?

and what PC apps did you use to achieve your success?

Did Verizon have these functions "locked out", as I suspect?
