Default Low Balance trigger glitch

Verizon tried to wipe out the $100 balance on my prepay account. They did
this by changing my account status to remove the low balance trigger that
automatically adds money to my account. Without the added money, my account
expired, wiping away its 'current' status and previous $ balance. I know
verizon would like to get rid of all their less profitable legacy accounts,
but this computer glitch seems more like a dirty trick to me.

The first customer svc rep i talked to was just horrible. She was
antagonistic and just kept repeating things read from her computer screen
like an inane drone. There was no thought process going on at all, a
complete lack of empathy and service. She even gave me a first warning for
swearing when i never said anything other than let me speak to a different
rep or a supervisor. I ditched her quick and called back. On my 2nd attemp
I got someone who was the complete antithesis of the first. The second rep
helped resolve my issue quickly and completely, restoring my previous
balance in full, as well as my waning faith in verizon.

Had i not gotten my balance restored, i would never have returned as a
verizon customer. And I have been a verizon customer, with this phone
number for almost 20 years (i thik it was bell atlantic when i started). I
have three verizon cellphone numbers, and one sprint number, in my immediate
family group. I would have been more than happy to get on a sprint family
plan...
