Apple is the vendor for QuickTime and they do not have a version for
Windows Mobile..... However the 8125 has Microsoft Media Player built
in which can handle a lot of different formats, including: unsecure AC3
(iTunes rip), MP3, MPEG4 (video), WAV, MPEG, MPEG-2, Windows Media
(video); QuickTime format is not supported, so you do not need WinAmp,
which such limited space on the phone most people just stick to one
media player. The Mobile Media Player will quickly can the miniSD card
for songs and it categorizes them for you quite well. I've actually
stopped using my iPOD since I installed a 1-Gig miniSD card in my 2125.
There are not a lot of free applications for SmartPhone because
Microsoft requires developers to pay to digitally sign SmartPhone
applications, this is not the case for PC software. So
freeware/shareware developers have to charge upfront to recoupe their
cost.
If you want to buy software for your phone and reasonable prices, this
site is a good place to go:
