Default Motorola W385 - save VM password

Why is it such a production to do this? Why can't they just make this
a visible option from the menu?

Anyone know how to enter my pwd so that I don't have to enter it each
time?

thanks.

very un-intuitive placement of the menu options for this:

Message (lower left corner)
Settings (lower left corner)
1- all msgs
4 - voicemail #

Now I can edit the *86 but no apparent way to add PAUSE. Any ideas?

I found where to change VM to save password with pauses.

Go to "contacts". At the very bottom of contacts, after #PMT is
Voicemail. That entry can be changed with pauses by pressing the right
soft key (options). It works on my phones.

yeah, if you edit the "Voicemail" entry from contacts, you will get an
Options menu in bottom right, from which you can enter pause. But if
you use my previous method you don't get pause option.

thanks.
