Default Need to backup and switch vzw phones

I have an LGVX8300 (mine) and a Samsung SCH-a930 (daughter's), both
Verizon-plan phones. I want to give my phone to my daughter and take her
phone. I think I can manually switch numbers via the web site, correct?
Also, she doesn't want to lose her hundreds(!) of contacts, ring tones, wall
papers, etc.

What is the easiest way to back up all her phone's stuff as well as my stuff
and when the phone number change is complete re-load the backed-up phone
information into the different phones? Would bitpim allow this?

Thanks,
Walter

I believe VW will do a backup and restore for you if you sign up on their
website. Bitpim will work for both phones, with some limitations. The LG
will work with a cable or BT, but it appears that the Samsung needs a cable

Use the Get It Now feature and GET EXTRAS and use BACKUP ASSISTANT. If
you have used MY ACCOUNT on the web site, it is free. So sign up on
the web site and back up online and then resotre when the phones are
changed.

I have MY ACCOUNT and the signup for the program says $1.99 but it is
waived if you have the web MY ACCOUNT.
