Default NEWS: T-Mobile back up after US outage (Five-hour fubar fixed)

T-Mobile's US network is back on its feet after yesterday's five-hour
outage that left customers disconnected.

In a statement posted to the T-Mobile forum discussing the outage the
company apologised for "intermittent service disruptions" that affected
"About five percent of our customers across various geographies" and
promised that "by late Tuesday PST their service was restored".

The company isn't saying what caused the outage which left callers
getting a "number unobtainable signal" and customers with no
connectivity at all. Apparently T-Mobile is still investigating, and is
very sorry for the inconvenience.

That didn't wash with the users, who racked up 107 pages of outrage last
time we looked. It appeared some were still smarting from the carrier's
recent Sidekick fiasco.

See what I mean about you being the worst offender for idiotic cross
posting, John?

This message is completely off topic anywhere but the T-Mo group, why
did you think anyone in any of the other groups would care?

STOP your stupid crossposting, dammit!

It is a simple process to filter his posts out!

Filtering out the people who feel his posts require comment is a little
more difficult.

I usually filter anything cross posted, but I had turned it off and
forgot to turn it back on (some groups are almost completely empty if
you filter cross posts, believe it or not!)

Navas and I had a previous discussion about this, he didn't believe he
was one of the offenders, let alone the worst of them all!

Have you always been a retard, or is this a recent thing?

You should see the crappy photographs he posts in the photography
forums...and his bi-weekly boilerplate rant about Motorola
chargers...he's a complete idiot.

I can't, he's normally killfiled.

> he's a complete idiot.

And that's why he's killfiled! Usually I run with any crossposted
messages killed but sometimes, for certain newsgroups, I need to turn
off all filters. When I forget to turn 'em back on, Navas happens. <g>
