Default No PagePlus Internet on LG Vortex?

We just signed on to the 1200 min PagePlus plan and activated our LG
Vortex over-the-air using *22890. The recording said that all went
well. However, we're not able to get any Internet icon showing. WiFi,
talk and text work fine. The Mobile Networks setting is enabled. Are
we missing some config setup to enable data? Thanks.

It's been a while since I have activated a phone, but the code is *228, then
select Option 1 or Option 2.

Dial *611, this is technical support for your Verizon device.

Is the Vortex a wifi device, or does it support 3G/4G-LTE also?

I'm happy to report that my Vortex now has a strong and stable 3G
signal through no extra efforts of my own. I just had to wait for
things to run their course. Thanks to all who replied.

Confirmation yet again that "all things come to those who wait" :-) .
