My Audiovox CDM 9900 was replaced last December when it was stolen.
Lately the phone is having problems with reverting to analogue mode as well
as disconnecting occasionally when I hit a button to answer a call.
Rebooting the phone fixes the analogue/digital problem for awhile.
I took it into the local Verizon store to have it checked out after
consulting with a rep by phone and was told the phone needs new software to
fix the problem.
The Verizon store told me the software wasn't available to them anymore and
that I should buy a new phone.
I feel that if they can't supply me with the software - then they should
give me a new phone. I have insurance but why should I spend yet even more
$$$?
This phone model is only two yrs. old and while lacking Bluetooth, MP3 (who
cares) and a couple of other inconsequential items still has the best screen
& reception I've ever seen (when it works). It sold out immediately when it
was introduced.
Is there something wrong with this picture?
Thanks.
